Kanselado na rin sa taong ito ang Miss World 2020.

Sa kanilang Facebook page, in-announce ng Miss World Organization na kanselado ang 70th Miss World Beauty Pageant dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic.

Ang chairman at CEO ng Miss World na si Julia Morley ang gumawa ng official statement.

“The 70th Miss World Final will be held in the latter part of 2021 Host Country/Venue will be confirmed very soon.

“We have made the decision to delay the 70th Miss World Final. Safety is paramount as we continue the fight against COVID-19.

“We look forward to welcoming the Miss World family to our very special celebrations next year.”

Ang iba pang international beauty pageants na kanselado sa taong ito ay ang Miss International 2020 at ang Miss Supranational 2020.

American actor pinatotohanan ng toxic environment sa show ni Ellen Degeneres

Kinumpirma ng Everybody Loves Raymond star na si Brad Garrett ang mga akusasyon sa TV host na si Ellen DeGeneres na hindi maganda ang pagtrato nito sa kanyang staff.

Nasabi ito ng aktor dahil siya mismo ay nakaranas ng hindi magandang treatment mula kay Ellen noong mag-guest ito sa kanyang show.

Sey ni Garrett, common knowledge na raw ang hindi magandang ugali ni Ellen, wala lang daw gustong magsalita noon dahil sa “kind” ­image na pinapa­kita nito sa harap ng kamera.

Noong maglabas ng apology si Ellen, ramdam ni Garrett na hindi sincere si Ellen sa kanyang apology.

“Sorry but it comes from the top @TheEllenShow Know more than one who were treated horribly by her. Common knowledge,” tweet pa ni Garrett.

Anim na beses na nag-guest si Garrett sa show ni Ellen, pero ‘di na niya tinukoy kung anong mistreatment ang ginawa sa kanya sa show.

Nag-launch ng internal investigation ang WarnerMedia sa nagaganap na toxic work environment sa The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Bukod sa naba­balitang horrible behavior ni Ellen sa kanyang staff, may ilang executives ang show na nababalitang sine-sexually harass ang ilang staff.

Heto ang naging apology ni Ellen:

“On day one of our show, I told everyone in our first meeting that ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ would be a place of happiness – no one would ever raise their voice, and everyone would be treated with respect,” she began. “Ob­viously, something changed, and I am disappointed to learn that this has not been the case. And for that, I am sorry. Anyone who knows me knows it’s the opposite of what I believe and what I hoped for our show.”
