“Back in 2018 the main reason why I started joining pageants was to earn money, aron maka-support ko sa akong kaugalingon ug sa akong amahan. But the more I earned from pageantry, I became really motivated cause I was able to learn more and I gained a platform, where I can actually make a difference as a beauty queen,” suma pa niya.

Banat News Hugyaw: Alang kanimo, unsa ang imong best asset?

Jackie:  Para nako, my best asset is my compassion and intuitiveness.

BNH: Your  goals ug dreams.

Jackie: Sauna pa gyud,  pangandoy na gyud nako nga mahimong performer and to be an artist on a TV show, while earning enough money to support me and my father financially.

BNH:  Naa kita karon sa COVID-19 pandemic, unsay  imong mensahe sa imong isigkatawo?

Jackie: I believe that it is really important that during this pandemic, we the people, discipline ourselves and make sure to be aware of the rules implemented by the government. That we refrain from going outside our home, unless truly necessary. We should also make sure to sanitize and boost our immune system by staying healthy and fit.

BNH: Unsa nga prestigious pageant ang plano nimo apilan puhon?

Jackie: Planning on joining Miss Teen Earth. Oh diba dream big.

BNH: Unsaon nimo pag-deal ang imong bashers?

Jackie: For years, I was bullied and put down by my own old friends and random strangers. There was a time nga naghilak ko kay ang ilang gipanulti made me feel little and worthless. But one day after everything i went through, naka-feel ko kung unsa ko ka-strong. Ang ilang ipanulti kay dili na makaigo kanako. 

BNH: Naa ka’y uyab ron?

Jackie: Yes, naa siya sa London ron ga -work and nag-school. We’ve been in a long distance relationship for over a year now.

BNH: Kung mahatagan ka tsansa nga mogama og non -government organization , unsa nga adbokasiya ang gusto nimo sudlan?

Jackie: Sulod na sa four years, my advocacy has always been children’s welfare and as a teacher aid for preschool kids back in America, I believe that every child deserves to be protected and be guaranteed a good and safe life.

BNH: Unsay makapahilak nimo?

Jackie: To be honest  I am a very sensitive girl so daghan ang makapa hilak nako, but the main thing would be when someone leaves me or when I miss my loved ones.

BNH:  Unsay  makapalagot nimo?

Jackie: Ang makapalagot nako is when I see people throwing garbage everywhere and not caring about the environment enough, panghinaot nako nga ma-aware na unta sila kun unsay sakto.

BNH: Tambag nimo sa mga babaye nga ganahan pud moapil og mga pageant puhon?

Jackie: To the girls reading this, ayaw kahadlok, kauwaw or kulba . Hunahunaa nga kaya lage na nimo. Pageantry will change your life and you’ll meet so many amazing people, who will guide you and push you to be a better you.
