MANILA, Philippines — Grabe ang daming naghintay sa Royal Wedding nina Prince Harry and Meghan Markle kahapon. At kasama ang mga Pinoy sa tumutok.

Tinutukan ng buong mundo ang nasabing kasalan dahil nga sa status ni Meghan na isang diborsyada at mixed American pa. Nagkalat pa sa social media ang sexy photos niya nung nag-aartista kaya talagang pinaglaanan ng oras maging ng maraming Pinoy.

Totoong kuwento ito na na-in love ang isang prinsipe sa dating may asawang Hollywood actress.

Anyway, parang hindi naman nag-attend ang mga Pinoy designer na nag-upload ng invitation sa Royal wedding. Yup, na-invite nga raw sila. Pero wala silang update sa kani-kanilang social media account kung bumiyahe sila sa London para dumalo sa kasalan.

Habang sinusulat ito ay hindi pa tapos ang nasabing kasalan sa mga live streaming.

Kasama sa mga dumalo ang mga co-stars ni Meghan sa huling TV show niya na Suits.

Ang wedding dress ni Meghan ay ginawa ng British designer na si Clare Waight Keller, Artistic Director ng Givenchy!

Ngayong kasal na sila, tatawagin sila na Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Mond Rubbing Shoulders sa International Celebs!

Rubbing shoulders talaga si Mond Gutierrez international celebs nang bumiyahe siya recently sa South of France.

Yup, last May 11, he was seen cozying up with none other than supermodel Bella Hadid and world-renowned designer Alexander Wang at the Magnum #TakePleasureSeriously press conference at the exclusive Cannes Film Festival.

Sa ginanap na celebration of Magnum’s long heritage of craft and Belgian chocolate expertise, isa si Mond sa select guests na nabigyan ng access to the reveal of the global fashion icons as the newest brand ambassadors ng favorite nating luxe ice cream brand.

Both superstars in their respective fields, Alexander and Bella showcase their signature styles in everything they do, while relishing life’s indulgences. Kaya naman sila ang pinili ng Magnum na maka-collaborate para sa kanilang latest short film na ni-launch nga sa nasabing prestigous filmfest.

“The collaboration with Magnum has been all about pleasure and indulgence. Working with Bella to show the expert craft that goes into a Magnum is something I am very proud of. It’s great to collaborate with Magnum on this campaign, showing people the importance of pleasure in life,” sabi ng sikat na designer na si Alexander na sikat ang mga gawang bag maging sa mga Pinoy. “Every day, if you’re not having fun or enjoying what you do, then it’s just not worth it.”

Ayon naman kay Bella, it’s about finding the right balance between work and having time for yourself and the things that you love. “I appreciate the pleasures in life and am not afraid to indulge in between the chaotic pace of modelling,” say ng American model.

As a word of advice, she added, “Eat ice cream a lot. Always remember to take time every day to do something for yourself and just keep yourself happy.”

 Pinoy Delegation natutukan sa Cannes

Speaking of Cannes Film Festival, tagumpay din ang participation ng Philippine delegation headed by FDCP Chair and CEO Liza Dino sa isa sa mga sikat na international filmfest.

Ayon kay Ms. Dino, ito ang first time na nakasama ang bansa sa Spotlight Country sa Cannes Producers Network. “For the first time, the Philippine is going to be the Spotlight Country in the Cannes Producers Network. It is an industry event which facilitates connections between producers to help them boost their projects in development through a series of events designed to encourage international co-productions. With over 500 attendees from all over the world, producers will get to meet the best of the best,” sabi sa magandang chance na naibigay sa kanila ng organizer ng Cannes.

“As a Spotlight country, the Philippines gets to showcase its most promising Filipino producers who are geared and ready for co-productions with international partners, namely Alemberg Ang (Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa, 2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten, Ang Larawan), Armi Rae Cacanindin (Kusina, I’m Drunk I Love You, Jodilerks Dela Cruz, Employee of the Month), Pedring Lopez (Binhi, Nilalang, Dark Room), Sheron Dayoc (Halaw, Children’s Show, Women of the Weeping River) and Bianca Balbuena (That Thing Called Tadhana, Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis, Ang Panahon ng Halimaw).
