Baste puro babae raw ang raket!

Salve V. Asis - Pilipino Star Ngayon

MANILA.

“Cine Lokal’s goal is two-fold: one, to provide independent filmmakers with a commercial venue for their films, thereby strengthening their experience and training on film marketing and distribution, and two, to create a culture of support and viewership among Filipinos. This will benefit our up and coming filmmakers and producers to be oriented and appreciate how films are distributed and marketed in the country,” pahayag ni FDCP Chair and CEO Liza kahapon ng formal announcement ng kanilang partnership.

Three years ang pinirmahan nilang kontrata.

“We hope that through Cinel Lokal, we will further be developing film literacy and appreciation among our audience.

“Cine Lokal will certainly open doors for a lot of our stakeholders and we cannot thank SM Cinema enough for their incredible partnership. In addition to this program, we are also proud to announce that we are also partnering with SM’s Blink, their video on demand service that will provide our independent and regional filmmakers an additional platform to reach more audience. In short, there’s a lot to look forward to this year,” dagdag pa ni Chair Liza sa kanyang speech kahapon.

“In light of the Lenten Season, Salve Pelikula films will be featuring these films, both secular and religious in nature, which will encourage the audience to evaluate and appreciate the concepts of faith and human nature,” banggit pa ni Ms. Liza.

Sinabi naman ni Mr. SM Lifestyle Entertainment, Inc. (SMLEI) President Edgar Tejerero na sa tulong ng FDCP magkakaroon sila ng chance na mag-expand ng mga ipalalabas na pelikula para maka-invite and attract new set of audience. “Cine Lokal brings SM Cinema closer to its goal of becoming not only the largest, but the most diverse film exhibitor in the country,” pahayag nito.
