In menswear, full speed ahead for whimsy and play

Wear your building block beads, hand-beaded into a hand-crocheted beanie. Even impeccably tailored jackets and jeans come in playdough textures and tones. Backpacks are artfully scribbled in the house’s icons while two SpeakerMan backpacks integrate technological ingenuity with static electricity fabrics powering 3D-printed loudspeakers for the ultimate playground accessory.
Silhouettes are drawn in swoopy lines. Suits come in shrunken and oversized dimensions, as if you had grown-into or outgrown your clothes, with rootsy nods to the 1990s dress code of the skater community.

Thistles, symbols of resilience and healing, folklorically used to overcome difficult situations, appear in multiple fabric weaves, prints and embroideries. Flower fields grace garments through impressionist paintings transformed into tapestries and prints.
As a tribute to Paris, a photo montage collaging elements from the city and the Maison — the Pont Neuf, the Damier pattern, the cornices of interiors — runs through the collection. Moulures ornaments are intricately moulded on leather tailoring and bags, and delicate lace co-ords.
This childlike whimsy showcases the expertise of Louis Vuitton’s expert ateliers.
