Pasaway sa ECQ, babantayan ng PNP — Eleazar
MANILA, Philippines — Magtotodo-bantay ang Philippine National Police (PNP) laban sa mga pasaway sa ipatutupad na enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) sa Metro Manila na epektibo sa Agosto 6-20 upang mapigilan ang pagkalat ng bagong COVID-19 Delta variant.
“I have already instructed the RD, NCRPO, P/Maj.Gen Vicente Danao, Jr., to make sure that all the quarantine restrictions that have been implemented before, including the deployment of appropriate number of PNP personnel and the coordination with Local Government Units for force multipliers, will be in place during that period,” pahayag ni PNP Chief P/Gen. Guillermo Eleazar Eleazar.
“Also, I would like to remind our personnel who will be deployed to enforce the ECQ to be courteous at all times and respect the rights of our kababayan especially in dealing with violators. Hindi kasama sa ating tungkulin ang pagpaparusa, pananakit at pagpapahiya sa mga violators,” dagdag ng PNP chief.
Sinabi ni Eleazar na sa ilalim ng ECQ, tanging mga APOR (Authorized Persons Outside Residence), medical health workers at essential workers) ang papayagang lumabas ng kanilang mga tahanan. Samantalang tanging ang mga essential establishments at industriya nito ang papayagan na magkaroon ng operasyon sa ilalim ng lockdown sa NCR.
Maglalagay rin ng mga checkpoint sa mga border control sa bawat siyudad at bayan sa Metro Manila bilang bahagi ng paghihigpit sa mga interzonal travel.
Ani Eleazar, maaari lamang tumawid ng mga siyudad o lumabas at pumasok sa Metro Manila ay mga APOR pero dapat ay may kinalaman ito sa trabaho at kailangan lamang magpakita ng company ID o certificate of employment sa mga checkpoint.
