Sa paglaban kontra COVID-19 health workers, frontliners salamat — Duterte
MANILA, Philippines — “A llow me this opportunity to extend my personal and the nation’s gratitude to all those who selflessly gave their all in the fight against COVID-19, our health workers and other frontliners who risk their own safety.”
Ito ang naging pambungad ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa kanyang huling State Of the Nation Address (SONA) kahapon na ginanap sa Batasan Pambansa.
Pinasalamatan din ng Chief Executive ang mga Filipino na sumusunod sa health protocols na naglalayong pigilan ang paglaganap ng COVID-19.
Nagpahayag naman ng taus-pusong pasasalamat ang Pangulo sa local executives, private sector, international development partners ng Pilipinas para sa naging pagtugon ng mga ito sa COVID-19.
“To our local executives, this pandemic pushed you to step up and deliver responsive assistance. I am glad to see you take new and heightened responsibility, working doubly hard to protect your constituents,” ayon sa Pangulo.
Tiniyak naman ni Pangulong Duterte ang private sector na ang pamahalaan ay “is committed to assist the private sector to regain the commercial vibrance of the country prior to the pandemic,” wika ng Pangulo.
