PhilCycling National Trials
MANILA, Philippines — Sa ikalawang sunod na pagkakataon ay magdaraos ang Integrated Cycling Federation of the Philippines (PhilCycling) ng torneo sa isang bubble environment.
Pakakawalan ang PhilCycling National Trials for Road sa Hulyo 10 at 11 sa Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone sa Pampanga matapos ang matagumpay na pagdaraos ng National Mountain Bike Trials sa Danao City noong nakaraang buwan.
“Competitive cycling’s been out for more than one and a half years now, but we’re back to racing, thanks to the private sectors’ support and the government’s endearing effort to beat the pandemic through sports,” ani PhilCycling at Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Rep. Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino.
Katulong ng PhilCycling ang Standard Insurance, Smart, MVP Sports Foundation, Bases Conversion Development Authority at Clark Development Corp.
Bibitawan ang men’s at women’s Individual Time Trial at Criterium sa Hulyo 10 kasunod ang road race event kinabukasan.
Ang Clark Parade Grounds ang start at finish venue at ang ITT races ay tatakbuhin sa 24.6 kilometro para sa men’s at 18 kms para sa women’s. Ang criterium ay pakakawalan sa 2.3-km circuit sa Clark Parade Grounds at ang road races ay isang 24.6-km loop (anim na laps para sa men’s at apat na laps para sa women’s).
