Tolentino hihirit sa Vietnam

MANILA, Philippines — Umaasa si Philippine Olympic Committee president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino  na madadagdagan pa ang 36 sports event na idaraos ng Vietnam sa kanilang pagho-host ng 31st Southeast Asian Games sa susunod na taon.

“They might accept four more sports from proposals of eight countries,” pahayag ni Tolentino ukol sa kahilingan ng walong bansang kasapi para madagdagan ang  kabuuang  450 events mula sa 36 sports,  malayo sa 530 events ng 56 disciplines nang i-host ng Pinas ang SEA Games para humakot ng 149 gold medals tungo sa overall title.

Nawala sa calendar of events ang arnis, skateboarding, obstacle course, jiujitsu, e-sports, sailing, soft tennis, triathlon, sambo, surfing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, modern pentathlon, baseball, duathlon, rugby, softball at squash kung saan nanggaling ang 58 golds ng Team Philippines noong December, 2019.

Ang mga kasamang events ay archery, badminton, 3x3 at 5x5 basketball, billiards and snooker, boxing, canoe-kayak, chess, cycling, dancesport, fencing, football and futsal, golf, gymnastics, aerobic, handball, judo, karate, muay, pencak silat, petanque, rowing, sepak takraw, shooting, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, indoor and beach volleyball, weightlifting, wrestling at wushu.
