PSC kumikilos para sa mga coaches at athletes

MANILA, Philippines — Kasalukuyan nang ku­mikilos si Philippine Sports Commission chairman William ‘Butch’ Ramirez para sa pri­bilehiyo ng mga  na­tio­nal athletes at coa­ches base sa Republic Act 10699.

“We have already co­ordinated with concerned agencies like the Bureau of Internal Re­ve­nue (BIR),” wika ni Ramirez. 

Hinihintay pa ng PSC ang direktiba ng iba pang ahensya para ma­isakatuparan ito.

Sa ilalim ng nasabing batas ay makakakuha ang mga national athletes at coaches ng 20% dis­count sa mga com­mer­cial establishments, scholarships para sa win­ning athletes, retirement at death benefits. 

“It is not all that simple. There are certain challenges on the implementation,” wika pa ni Ramirez.
