Milo may papel pa rin sa 30th SEA Games

MANILA, Philippines — Hindi puwedeng mawala ang Milo lalung-lalo na para sa darating na 30th Southeast Asian Games.

Solidong suporta ang ibinigay ng Milo para sa kampanya ng mga national athletes sa biennial event na nakatakda sa Nobyembre 30 hanggang Disyembre 11.

“As a longtime supporter of Philippine sports, it is with great honor and privilege that Milo comes in as a gold partner for the historic 30th SEA Games,” wika ni Veronica Cruz, ang Vice President ng Nestlé Phi-lippines-Milo. “As our athletes and local sports communities continue to work hard in the preparation for the SEA Games, we want to help energize the country to cheer them on and let them know that we are all with them in defending our homecourt, win or lose.”

Pinasalamatan naman ni Philippine SEA Games Organizing Committee (PHISGOC) chairman at House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano ang pagtulong ng Milo.

Higit sa 40 taon nang itinataguyod ng Milo ang Phi-lippine sports sa pamamagitan ng kanilang Milo Sports Clinics, Milo Little Olympics, Milo Barangay Liga, Milo Champ Camp at National Milo Marathon.

“We all know that in sports, whether it’s the coaches, the parents of the athletes, the athletes, the fans that are cheering their idols on, they’re full of faith,” sabi ni Cayetano. “But it is really when the athletes focus, they give their all, commitment, passion, sacrifice where faith becomes alive.” Tiniyak din ni Cayetano sa publiko na nagkakaisa ang mga stakeholders sa sports at ang organizing committee para sa matagumpay na pagdaraos ng 2019 SEA Games.

Samantala, inaasahan din ng Phisgoc chief na mapapabilis ng Philippine Sports Commission kasama ang Philippine Olympic Committee sa procurement ng mga sports equipment at supplies na gagamitin sa mga event.

Ang pagdaraos ng SEAG sa labas ng Metro Manila ang magpapalakas sa sport tourism ng bansa.
