Mau excited makasama ang Santiago sisters sa Phl SEAG women�s volleyball team

MANILA, Philippines — Isang karangalan para kay Filipino-Hawaiin skipper Kalei Mau na muling makaharap sa loob ng volleyball court ang magkapatid na Santiago.

Huling nakaharap ni Mau sina Dindin at Jaja sa semifinals match ng 2019 Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference kung saan napatalsik ng F2 Logistics niya ang Foton ng magkapatid para angkinin ang unang Finals spot.

Magkagayon man ay malaki pa rin ang respeto at paghanga ng 6-foot-2 outside hitter sa magkapatid at excited na siya na makasama ang da­lawa sa national team.

“Awesome. It’s an honor to be on the court with them, they’re such great athletes such smart volleyball pla­yers. They play at such a high le­vel and I it made me even more exci­ted to be on the national team with them,” ani Mau.

Kasama ang magkapatid at si Mau sa 22-man national pool ng women’s volleyball team na sasalang sa 2019 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games na ga­ga­­napin sa bansa sa Nobyembre.

Pero hindi pa sigurado kung maka­ka­paglaro para sa bansa si Jaja dahil kailangan nitong bumalik sa Japan para sa kanyang stint sa V. Premier League.

Samantala, ito naman ang unang Fi­nals appearance ni Mau sa PSL mu­la nang sumabak noong 2018 sa ila­lim ng Cocolife at United Volleyball Club bago tumalon sa F2 Logistics at ito raw ang isa hindi malilimutang bahagi ng kanyang karera.

“I feel so pumped. I’m excited for it and I think it’s gonna be the most me-morable time of volleyball in my career,” panapos niya.
