Pagkakaisa para sa SEA Games
MANILA, Philippines — “Go Team Philippines! Aim for No. 1! We win as one!” ito ang sigaw ng lahat sa ginanap na kauna-unahang Team Philippines Assessment Meeting kahapon sa PICC Summit Hall.
Dinaluhan nina Philippine Olympic Committee President Ricky Vargas at Philippine Sea Games Organizing Committee (Phisgoc) chaiman Alan Peter Cayetano at Atty. Kim Raissa Uy ng Malacañang ang assessment meeting na idinaraos ni Philippine Sports Commission chairman William Ramirez bilang chief of mission ng Philippine de-legation para sa 2019 Sea Games.
Ang 30th Southeast Asian Games ay gaganapin dito sa bansa sa ika-apat na pagkakataon ngayong Nobyembre 30 hanggang Disyembre 11 sa Angeles City-Clark bilang main hub, Subic, Metro Manila at Tagaytay City.
“We are all of the same color. We are Team Philippines. Let us be inspired by great purpose, let us be enthusiastic. I’ll be focusing my eyes on the national athletes. There are many faces of winning but we must aim for No. 1,” sabi ni Ramirez na siya ring a Chef de Mission at PSC chairman nang masungkit ng Pilipinas ang overall crown noong 2005 SEA Games.
Nagpahayag din ang POC czar na si Vargas ng kanyang hangarin na marinig ang Philippine National Anthem ng 120 beses sa loob ng 12 araw ng Philippine Sea Games.
“A unifying force that will bring us together nearer to our goal. With the help of our CDM. I wanna hear our national anthem being played 120 times in the 2019 Sea Games. I share with the call of chairman Ramirez and our President (Rodrigo Duterte) for unity and win as one,” ayon kay Vargas.
