MANILA, Philippines — Alam ng mga Beermen na malalagay sila sa balag ng alanganin kapag muling natalo.

Kumamada ang nagdedepensang San Miguel sa second half para balikan ang Magnolia sa Game Four, 114-98 at itabla sa 2-2 ang 2019 PBA Philippine Cup Finals kagabi sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Bumawi ang Beermen mula sa 82-86 kabiguan sa Game Three ng kanilang best-of-seven championship series para gawing best-of-three ang bakbakan nila.

“Parang best of three na lang ‘yung series,” wika ni five-time PBA MVP June Mar Fajardo na humakot ng 31 points at 14 rebounds. “Kailangan naming paghandaan nang husto ‘yung next game.”

Isinara ng San Miguel ang first half sa 54-47 hanggang itayo ang 17-point lead, 85-69, sa huling 1:07 minuto ng third period mula kina Fajardo, tumipa ng 14 points, Chris Ross at Terrence Romeo.

Muling inulit ng four-time All-Filipino Cup champions ang nasabing kalamangan sa 105-88 galing sa tirada ni Romeo sa huling 3:50 minuto ng fourth quarter. Mula rito ay hindi na nakabangon ang Magnolia.
