MANILA, Philippines — Matapos si Conor McGregor ng Ireland ay si Khabib Nurmagomedov ng Russia naman ang gustong makasagupa si American boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Ipinoste ni Nurmagomedov sa Instagram account ni Leonard Ellerbe, ang promoter ni Mayweather, ang kanyang paghahamon sa ‘pound-for-pound’ king.

“Let’s go Floyd. We have to fight now: 50-0 versus 27-0,” sabi ni Nurmagomedov katabi si Ellerbe sa isang boxing event sa Russia. “We are two guys who never lose. In the jungle there is only one king. Of course, I am the king because he cannot drop McGregor but I drop him easily. Let’s go.”

Idiniretso ni Nurmagomedov ang kanyang professional mixed martial arts record sa 27-0 matapos ang fourth-round submission victory laban kay McGregor at mapa-natiling suot ang kanyang UFC lightweight crown noong Linggo sa Las Vegas, Nevada.

Walang sinabi si Nurmagomedov kung saan niya lalabanan ang 41-an-yos na si Mayweather.

Plano ni Mayweather na magsagawa ng isang tune-up fight sa Disyembre sa Tokyo, Japan bilang paghahanda sa kanilang rematch ni Filipino world eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao.

Nagkita sina Pacquiao at Mayweather sa isang music festival sa Tokyo kung saan nila napag-usapan ang rematch.

Tinalo ni Mayweather si Pacquiao via unanimous decision sa kanilang super fight noong 2015 na sumira sa pay-per-view at gate receipts records.

Huling lumaban si Mayweather noong Agosto ng 2017 matapos talunin si McGregor via tenth-round stoppage para sa kauna-unahang professional boxing match ng Irish superstar.

Kapwa kumita ng mil-yones sina Mayweather at McGregor sa nasabing laban.
