“No’ng pinitch ito sa akin, I didn’t even bother reading the script. Parang when they gave me the synopsis nito, anong kwento, sinabi lang nila sa akin agad na si Inna ay mawawalan ng poochy. At dahil nakatrabaho ko na ang IdeaFirst before at alam ko kung gaano sila kaingat talaga sa akin when I did Ang Babaeng Allergic sa WiFi (2018), wala akong doubts in my mind talaga when I accepted the project. Kapag ganito ka-sensitive ang material, all the scenes na maseselan, hindi ko talaga naramdaman na kailangan ko mailang because I know the people around me were very protective of me,” paliwanag ni Sue.
“It’s a passion project of Fatrick Tabada. I’m so honored kasi ako ‘yung napili niya para maging si Flower Girl. It’s our first time working together. But I know him because I loved the movie Patay Na Si Hesus (2014) which I watched so many times. I’m so happy that I did because iba siya mag-isip. He really knows what he wants and he really wants to get the message across when he does things,” pagbabahagi ng aktres.
I haven’t done that. As an actor, it’s constantly reinventing yourself in all the roles that you’re going to portray. Kasi siyempre hindi pwedeng pare-parehas. Actually, that’s challenging, for example, you get so much projects na ito ‘yung genre. So you have to constantly reinvent yourself,” nakangiting pahayag ni Gabbi sa Bida/Bida ng Netflix Philippines.
“I was really grateful that the writers, the director were really open to sitting down with us.
“We seldom work together. We often work together siguro for content, not as actors. This is like rare times na we get to actually act together and it’s different kasi siyempre we know each other so well on a deep level. Tapos when it comes to the set, it always has to be new. Siyempre you’re both actors, you’re playing different roles. So kailangan fresh palagi ‘yung chemistry, ‘yung samahan. So, it was kind of challenging but at the same time comforting as well coz you have your person there on set with you,” paliwanag ng dalaga. — Reports from JCC
