Sunud-sunod din ang trabaho ni Lovi. Habang ongoing pa ang pagpapalabas ng Flower of Evil nila ni Piolo Pascual, busy naman ito sa promo ng kakaibang kwento ng dalawang babaeng nagmamahalan sa Sleep with Me, ang pinakabagong serye sa iWantTFC na pinagbibidahan nila ni Janine Gutierrez.

Ito ay matapos ang matagumpay na world premiere ng serye sa 40th Outfest LGBTQ+ Film Festival sa Los Angeles noong Hulyo 19, kung saan nanalo ito ng Audience Award for Best Episodic at sold out din ang tickets para sa premiere na dinaluhan nina Lovi at ang direktor ng serye na si Samantha Lee.

Umiikot ang Sleep with Me kay Harry (Janine), isang naka-wheelchair na late-night radio DJ at eksperto sa love advice, at kay Luna (Lovi), isang babaeng may sleep disorder na hindi nakakatulog tuwing gabi.

Bukod sa nakakakilig na relasyon nina Harry at Luna, bibigyang-diin din ng serye ang mga social injustice na nararanasan ng mga taong may kapansanan at ng mga miyembro ng LGBTQ+ community.

“I think Janine and Lovi’s characters both have their own set of issues that they deal with, that makes them excluded from society at large. It’s about people’s stories that don’t get told a lot,” sabi ni direk Samantha, na kilala rin sa mga queer films niyang Baka Bukas at Billie and Emma, sa isang interview noon.

“The story is really something that I don’t think has been shown in the Filipino setting. I’m so excited for people to learn more about this topic and alam kong madaming makaka-relate. And at the core, it’s a love story na talagang you’ll get attached to and it will make you feel things,” dagdag naman ni Janine.
