Queen of Asianovela Soundtracks nagbabalik!

Wow nagbabalik sa music scene ang isa sa itinuturing na premiere divas, and the original Asianovela soundtrack royalty, Faith Cuneta.

Pagkatapos ngang tutukan ang kanyang sariling pamilya sa nakalipas na dalawang taon, handa na uli si Faith na paligayahin ang kanyang fans sa kanyang very first project, recording para sa Philippine soundtrack ng hit Korean drama na Misty na napapanood sa primetime block ng GMA 7 na nag-umpisa noong June 9.

Ni-record niya ang kantang It Must Have Been Love, na originally done by Swedish pop duo Roxette and was part of the hit Hollywood film Pretty Woman which stars Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in 1990.

Sakto ang soulful rendition ng kanta sa K-Drama na kuwento ng successful news anchor played by Korean actress Kim Nam Joo, who was accused of the murder of a former lover, kung saan ang kanyang dating asawa ang tumayong defense lawyer. Ang nasabing role at nagbigay kay Kim ng at least three Best Actress awards, sa 54th Baeksang Arts Awards, 2nd The Seoul Awards and at the 23rd Asian Television Awards, respectively.
Faith is indeed very thrilled with her comeback. “I really miss singing for my fans and for people who just loves to hear good and real music, I am just so excited,” she says.

She’s even planning to stage a major concert once the situation clears up for such events.
