LISTAHAN: MMFF winners, 7 awards sinungkit ng �Siargao�

MANILA, Philippines — Humakot ang pelikulang “Siargao” ng pitong pagkilala sa katatapos lamang na 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) awards night kagabi sa Kia Theater, Quezon City.

Nakuha ng “Siargao ang Second Best Picture, Best Sound, Best Original Theme Song, Best Editing at Best Cinematography.

Kinilala naman sina Paul Soriano at Jasmine Curtis-Smith bilang Best Director at Best Supporting Actress.

Narito ang kumpletong listahan ng mga nagwagi:

Best Actress: Joanna Ampil: “Ang Larawan”

Best Actor: Derek Ramsay: “All of You”

Best Picture:  “Ang Larawan”

Third Best Picture: “All of You”

Best Supporting Actor: Edgar Allan Guzman “Deadma Walking”

Best Child Performer: Bae-by Baste “Meant to Beh”

Best Musical Score: “Ang Larawan”

Best Visual Effects: “Ang Panday”

Best Production Design:  “Ang Larawan”

Best Full-Length Film – People’s Choice Award: “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad”

Best Screenplay: “All of You”

Best Visual Effects: “Ang Panday”

Best Production Design: “Ang Larawan”

Children’s Choice: “Ang Panday”

FPJ Memorial Award: “Ang Panday”

Gatpuno J. Villegas Cultural Award: “Ang Larawan”

Special Jury Prize:

Nick Joaquin (“Portrait of the Artist as Filipino”): Rodel Nacianceno a.k.a. Coco Martin

Short Film – People’s Choice Award – “Noel”

Mula sa 26 pelikula ay walo ang nakapasok sa MMFF ngayong taon at ito ay ang: "All of You," "Gandarrapido! The Revenger Squad," "Meant to `Beh," "Ang Panday," "Deadma Walking," "Haunted Forest," "Ang Larawan" at "Siargao."

 Magtatagal ang film festival hanggang Enero 7.
