2K manggagawa sa Visayas, bibigyan ng ‘full subsidy’ sa SSS
MANILA, Philippines — Bibigyan ng full subsidy sa kontribusyon sa Social Security System (SSS) ng kompanyang DoubleDragon Corporation ang may 2,000 informal sectors sa Visayas region.
Ayon kay SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Joseph Montes De Claro, ito ay matapos lagdaan ni DoubleDragon Corporation Chairman Edgar “Injap” Sia II ang Memorandum of Agreement para i-rehistro ang DoubleDragon bilang Contribution Subsidy Provider.
Nagpasalamat si De Claro kay DoubleDragon Chairman Sia sa pagtugon sa panawagan ng gobyerno na suportahan ang mga Filipinong manggagawa pati na ang kanilang pamilya sa pamamagitan ng SSS Contribution Subsidy Provider Program (CSPP).
Ayon kay De Claro, nasa 2,000 informal sector workers sa Iloilo City at Roxas City ang bibigyan ng subsidiya ng 12 buwan na nagkakahalaga ng P18.2 milyon.
“This SSS contribution subsidy will not only support the 2,000 recipients but will also benefit their extended families. It will provide these informal sector workers with the opportunity to join the SSS and gain access to its benefits,” sabi ni De Claro.
