Regine, ‘‘di kaya ang disiplina ni Sharon sa pagkain

Muling makapagtatanghal si Regine Velasquez sa live audience sa June 17 at 18.

Makakasama ng Asia’s Songbird si Sharon Cuneta sa Iconic concert na gaganapin sa Marriott Grand Ballroom ng Resorts World Manila.

Ngayon pa lamang ay sobrang excited na raw ni Regine para sa nalalapit nilang concert ng Megastar. “I can’t wait. I missed the palakpakan, the hiyawan, the energy that they give us back. I’m so excited for that. Plus I get to share again with Ate Sharon,” bungad ni Regine.

Samantala, napahanga umano ang Asia’s Songbird sa ginawang pagpapapayat ni Sharon sa loob ng anim na taon.

May natutunan umano si Regine sa na­ging disiplina sa sarili ng Megastar. “I’m so proud of her. It’s really about discipline and lifestyle. What I learned is that really dieting, ‘yung trying to deprive yourself of carbs. It will really make you gain pounds back even more. The rebound is worse. So now, what I’m trying to do is enjoy food. Because food is there to enjoy at saka nakaka-happy siya. It’s just about discipline and lifestyle. It’s also taking care of yourself. You need to eh, I’m not into body shaming,” giit ng singer.

Aminado si Regine na talagang nagsisilbing inspirasyon sa kanya si Sharon at ang ginawa ng kaibigan na pagpapapayat. “She is an inspiration to a lot of people. Even with  me. Kasi it’s not just about the aesthetics eh. It’s about taking care of yourself. As you get older, everything changes. It’s harder for our bodies to recover when your body is working hard. It’s working hard constantly,” pagtatapos ng Asia’s Songbird.

Elijah, hindi nanibago sa drama

Napapanood na ang Misis Piggy na pinagbibidahan ni Sylvia Sanchez sa iWantTFC. Gumaganap bilang mga anak ng aktres sa naturang proyekto sina Ria Atayde, Iana Bernardez at Elijah Canlas. “I play the role of Jeffrey, ‘yung bunso ng tatlong magkakapatid. Sobrang pa-baby niya, ang lambing. Tapos lahat na lang parati siyang may side comment sa mga ganap kahit hindi naman siya kasali. Siyempre with these group of actors, nakaka-inspire. Ang dami kong natutunan talaga,” pagbabahagi ni Elijah.

Matatandang sumikat ang aktor dahil sa paggawa ng BL o boys’ love series. Hindi naman daw nanibago si Elijah pagda­ting sa paggawa ng isang family drama series. “Wala namang adjustments. Super safe ng role ko dito compared to the roles that I’ve done before. When I read the script, sobrang buo na ng mga characters. When I came on the set, it just came authentically na din. Kasi I didn’t have that much time to prepare eh. Kasi galing ako sa isa pang project, like lite­rally a day before the shoot. I’m super grateful for this group and for the wonderful material,” paliwanag ng binata. (Reports from JCC)
