Ishikawa nagpasalamat sa Pinoy fans

MANILA, Philippines — Malakas ang karisma ng mga Japanese pla­yers na naglalaro sa 2024 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Manila Leg na ginaganap sa Mall of Asia Arena sa Pasay City.

Kaya naman Japan team ang may pinakama­lakas na hiyawan sa oras na nagpapakawala ito ng matatalim na atake sa ka­nilang mga laro.

Malaki ang pasasalamat ni Japan skipper Yuri Ishikawa sa patuloy na pagsuporta sa kanila ng Pinoy fans.

Para kay Ishikawa, nag­sisilbing pampagana sa buong Japanese team ang suporta ng mga Pinoy sa kanila.

“It’s amazing to play here again this year. When we make points, the crowd cheers on us so we’re so happy and excited. Thank you for supporting us and we will show our best volleyball,” pahayag ni Ishikawa.

Hindi pinalad ang Japan na manalo sa kanilang unang laro.

Lumasap ang Japan ng pukpukang 25-21, 20-25, 25-15, 20-25, 15-10 kabiguan sa mas matatangkad na Canadian squad.

“We have to improve our reception and we have our eyes on a solution. Canada has a really nice and high block. I think we can do much better. We have our eyes on a solution but we have to improve our reception,” ani Ran Takahashi.

Lamang na lamang ang Canada sa blocking department kung saan nakakuha ito ng 12 blocks kumpara sa tatlo lamang ng Japan.
