Sasagupain ng Tropang Giga ang Meralco Bolts ngayong alas-5:45 ng hapon sa Game Four ng 2023 PBA Governors’ Cup best-of-five semifinals series sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Inagaw ng TNT ang 2-1 bentahe sa kanilang serye ng Meralco matapos ang kumbinsidong 99-80 panalo sa Game Three noong Miyerkules tampok ang 40 points ni import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.
Nagdagdag si Mikey Williams ng 29 markers kasama ang anim na three-point shots para sa pagresbak ng Tropang Giga mula sa 117-124 overtime loss sa Bolts sa Game Two.
Hindi maiiwasang manghina si Hollis-Jefferson dahil sa pag-obserba ng dating NBA player sa Ramadan.
“I don’t know what I’ll do. Let alone water, I know how hard that can be,” ani Williams sa pagpa-fasting ng kanilang import. “We just try to be there the best that we can and conserve our energy the best we can.”
Sina Hollis-Jefferson at Williams ang naging problema ni Meralco coach Norman Black sa Game Three.
“They were able to establish their game immediately in the first quarter. Their import came out with a lot of energy and pretty much dominated the first half,” sabi ng one-time PBA Grand Slam champion mentor.
