MANILA, Philippines — Humakot ang Behrouz Elite Swimming Team (BEST) ng 11 ginto, 14 pilak at apat na tansong medalya sa pagpapatuloy ng 2022 Philippine National Age Group Championships na ginaganap sa Rizal Memorial Sports Complex sa Maynila.

Nagpasiklab sina Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh at H­eather White matapos umani ng tig-tatlong gintong medalya sa kani-kanyang dibisyon.

Nagreyna ang Brent International School standout na si Mojdeh sa girls’ 16-18 50m breaststroke (35.67), 100m butterfly (1:04.17) at 200m Individual Medley (2:29.35).

Namayagpag naman si White sa girls’ 14-15 200m IM (2:30.33), 100m butterfly (1:05.62) at 50m freestyle (27.49).

May dalawang ginto si Coby Rivilla sa boys’ 14-15 200m IM (2:23) at 100m butterfly (1:01.00) habang na­kaginto si Ivan Radovan sa boys’ 16-18 1500m freestyle (18:10.93) at isang pilak sa 100m butterfly (57.78).

Humirit din ng ginto si Peter Dean sa boys’ 14-15 100m backstroke (1:06.00) at isang pilak sa 200m IM (2:24.00) samantalang kumana ng ginto si Ruben White sa boys’ 16-18 50m freestyle (23.92).

Ang iba pang medalists ay sina Jules Mirandilla (silver sa boys’ 19-over 100m butterfly), John Neil Paderes (silver sa boys’ 19-over 100m backstroke at bronze sa 200m IM), Yohan Cabana (silver sa boys’ 16-18 100m backstroke at 200m IM), Zandro Carandang (silver sa boys’ 16-18 1500m freestyle at 400m freestyle), Amina Mondonedo (silver sa girls’ 14-15 100m butterfly at 50m freestyle), Arriana Carandang (bronze sa girls’ 11-13 50m freestyle at 200m IM), Geof Liberato (bronze sa boys’ 19-over 50m breaststroke), Julian De Kam (silver sa boys’ 14-15 100m backstroke, 1500 freestyle at 400m freestyle).

“We’re so happy with the outcome and we’re looking forward to win more in the next days,” ani BEST team manager Joan Mojdeh.
