ATLANTA — Ito ang isang pagkakataong mapapanood ng mga fans ang mga pinakamalalaking pangalan sa NBA.

Papagitna ang 70th edition ng NBA All-Star kung saan limitadong bilang lamang ng mga invited guests ang manonood sa State Farm Arena dahil sa coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

Itatampok sa one-night event ang salpukan ng Team LeBron ni team captain Lebron James ng Los Angeles Lakers at Team Durant ni non-playing team captain Kevin Durant ng Brooklyn Nets.

Makakatuwang ni James sina two-time reig­ning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks), Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors, Luka Doncic (Dallas Ma­vericks) at Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets) sa star­ting five ng Team LeBron.

Makakatapat nila sina Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics), Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers), 2020 All-Star MVP Kawhi Leonard (Los Angeles Clippers) at Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards) ng Team Durant.

Unang idaraos ang The Skills Challenge na susubok sa ball-handling, passing at shooting ability ng mga players.

Kasali rito sina Doncic, Robert Covington (Portland Trail Blazers), Chris Paul (Phoenix Suns), Julius Randle (New York Knicks), Domantas Sabonis (Indiana Pacers) at Nikola Vucevic (Orlando Magic).

Kasunod nito ang Three-Point shooting contest na lalahukan nina Curry, Tatum at Jaylen Brown (Boston Celtics), Zach LaVine (Chicago Bulls) at Donovan Mitchell at Mike Conley (Utah Jazz).

Magdo-donate ang NBA at ang players union ng higit sa $3 milyon para tulungan ang mga Black colleges and universities.
