‘Splash Sisters’ ipaparada ng Glutagence sa WNBL Phlippines
MANILA, Philippines — Kung may “Splash Brothers” ang NBA team na Golden State Warriors ay magpaparada naman ng “Splash Sisters” ang Glutagence Glow Boosters sa 2021 WNBL Philippines.
Sasandigan ng Glow Boosters ang backcourt tandem nina Camille Claro at Khate Castillo mula La Salle Lady Archers kasama si No. 1 overall pick Dra. Fille Claudine Cainglet buhat sa UP Lady Maroons.
“As any other team, we also target the championship,” ani Glutagence team manager Nico Banson kahapon sa TOPS: Usapang Sports na live na napapanood at napapakinggan sa Sports on Air via Facebook page.
“Back up by other players that we’ve gotten who are as good as everyone in the league and with by securing the first three picks, we’re hoping na makapag-champion kami in this inaugural professional tournament,” dagdag ni Banson.
Mamanduhan ni head coach Justin Tan ang Glow Boosters na gagayahin ang istilo ng Warriors nina Stephen Curry at Klay Thompson.
“With our line-up may shooters and bigs na may reliable inside and outside the paint, we have defenders that will give their all to defend. Parang ma-relate mong team is like a GSW team,” ani Banson.
Dahil sa kakulangan nila ng mga malalaking players ay aasahan ng Glutagence ang kanilang backcourt na pamumunuan nina Claro at Castillo.
