DPWH pinasalamatan ang PSC
MANILA, Philippines — Ang pagtutulungan ng mga ahensya ng gobyerno ang susi sa pagsagupa sa coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
Sa kanilang liham kay Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman William ‘Butch’ Ramirez ay pinasalamatan kahapon ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang sports agency sa pagtulong sa kanila.
Ipinagamit ng PSC sa DPWH ang kanilang training facilities bilang “We Heal as One Centers” para sa mga COVID-19 patients.
Ang mga ito ay ang Ninoy Aquino Stadium at ang Rizal Memorial Sports Complex sa Vito Cruz Manila at ang Multi-Purpose Arena (MPA) sa PhilSports Complex sa Pasig City.
“We at DPWH has recognized your unwavering support for the conversion of the Ninoy Aquino Stadium and the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex facility as a designated quarantine facility for COVID-19 patients,” wika ni DPWH Undersecretary for UPMO Operations and Technical Services Emil Sadain.
Tiniyak naman ni PSC Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Ramon Fernandez ang kanilang suporta sa DPWH sa pagharap sa nasabing global health crisis.
“We thank DPWH for trusting us and working with us. Rest assured that the PSC will always be supporting this fight against COVID-19 in ways we can,” ani Fernandez.
Ayon kay Sadain, ang pinuno ng Task Force on Augmentation of National and Local Healthcare Facilities, ang susi ay pagtutulungan ng public at private sector sa pagharap sa COVID-19 pandemic.
