San Carlos kampeon sa 165th PSL National Series

MANILA, Philippines — Nasungkit ng San Carlos Searingan Swimming Team ang overall championship crown sa 165th Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series – Class C and Novice na ginanap sa Diliman Preparatory School swimming pool sa Quezon City.

Nakalikom ang San Carlos ng kabuuang 620 puntos para masiguro ang pangkalahatang kampeonato sa torneong inorganisa ng PSL sa pakikipagtulungan kay dating Senator Nikki Coseteng.

Pumangalawa naman ang Binangonan Splashers Swimming Team matapos magtala ng 573 puntos habang pumangatlo ang Pasay Dolphins Swimming Team na naglista ng 522 puntos.

Nasa ikaapat ang Susan Papa Swim Academy na may 521 puntos kasunod ang VSJA Swimming Team (469), Diliman Preparatory School (457), Makati Cembo Swimming Team (399), Dominican College (278), Bosay Resort Aquatic Club (245) at Royal Tankers Swimming Club (234).

“We would like to congratulate these coaches who are helping and guiding these young swimmers in achieving excellence in swimming. A lot of hardwork and patience are needed especially in this stage (novice) of their careers. It’s a step-by-step process. We’re looking forward to see them grow, win medals in international tournaments in the future,” wika ni PSL president Ale­xandre Papa.

Nakatakdang pumili si Papa ng mga swimmers na isasabak ng PSL sa mga international tournaments sa susunod na taon.
