“I’m the kind of fighter that I don’t talk too much. I do my talking in the ring. I can do a lot of things in that ring,” ani Pacquiao sa pagyayabang ni Thurman.

“He can prove his words in the ring. I’m going to be a warrior on July 20 and show Keith Thurman what it’s like to be in the ring with me,” dagdag pa ni ‘Pacman’.

“I believe boxing has come to a new era. Floyd (Mayweather Jr.) is gone, Pacquiao is here, come July 20th he will disappear, OK?” ani Thurman.

“I will not predict this fight, but I’ll make sure to be 100% conditioned and ready for the fight. Let’s see who’s tougher in the ring. It’s gonna be exciting," sabi ng 'Fighting Senator'.

Ngunit may pasaring sa kanya si Thurman.

“I’m excited to be the guy who shows Manny Pacquiao where the exit is. He’s a legend who’s done great things. But I’ve never lost to a fighter who’s lost seven times,” pahayag pa ng American fighter.

“I want to prove that at the age of 40 I can still beat an undefeated fighter,” ani Pacquiao. “Like I said, my time is not yet over. My journey will continue. That’s what I want to prove.”
