“Once again, it's practically a do or die for both teams so we are expecting an intense battle with Alaska,” sabi ni Bolts one-time PBA Grand Slam champion coach Norman Black sa kanilang bakbakan ng Aces ngayong alas-4:30  ng hapon sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.

“That Meralco game is huge if we want to make the quarterfinals,” wika ni mentor Alex Compton sa kanyang Alaska. “Hopefully we get healthy and get back to who we are and how we play.”

“We need to play with a sense of urgency. Kailangan manalo at makabuwelo for a strong finish in the elims,” ani Hotshots' coach Chito Victolero.

“Figuring out our rhythm and getting that extra push is all we'll need. As far as I could tell right now, we need that last push,” wika naman ni Batang Pier Fil-Tongan power forward Moala Tautuaa, muling makakatuwang sina Stanley Pringle, Sean Anthony, Nico Elorde at rookie guard Robert Bolick.
