Pacquiao, Fuentes guest sa PSC-IP Games

MANILA, Philippines — Inimbitahan sina Sen. Manny Pacquiao at South Cotabato Gov. Daisy Avance Fuentes bilang main guest of honors sa Philippine Sports Commission-Indigenous Peoples Games na mag-umpisa ngayong araw sa Lake Sebu Municipal Gym sa South Cotabato.

Ang tanging 8-division world boxing champion na si Pacquiao ay kasalukuyang nasa Gen. Santos City para sa kanyang paghahanda sa nalalapit na laban kontra kay WBA world welterweight champion Lucas Matthysse ng Argentina sa susunod na buwan sa Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Pangungunahan ni Mindanao State University professor Henry Daut ang tatlong araw na IP Games program ng PSC na sinasalihan ng mahigit 300 participants mula sa 10 local government units (LGUs) sa Mindanao.

“We are very happy with the reception and interest for the IP Forum, particularly from the education sector. Students from the Lake Sebu Central Elementary School and National High School have confirmed to attend the Forum,” ani PSC commissioner Charles Maxey, ang oversight in-charge ng IP Games.

Kabilang sa mga larong ituturo sa mga katutubo ay ang hemanak, hanaw o kadang, sedeyol be klifak bliboy, setanggung o lechon race, sudul, meyon kuda law  at defut o sfut.
