Raptors nakauna rin sa Wizards

OAKLAND, California --Nagsalansan si Kevin Durant ng 24 points, 8 rebounds at 7 assists para pamunuan ang Golden State Warriors sa 113-92 paggiba sa San Antonio Spurs sa Game One ng kanilang first-round playoff series.

Bumandera sina Durant, Draymond Green at Klay Thompson sa natu­rang panalo ng Warriors, naglaro na wala si All-Star at injured two-time MVP Stephen Curry dahil sa sprained left knee.

“I noticed that Steph wasn't there,” sabi ni Spurs coach Gregg Popovich. “I watched real closely. I turned it off for a while ... turned it back on and he still wasn't there. I noticed that. But after that I didn't watch anything else, it was too scary.”

Umiskor si Thompson ng 27 points mula sa 11-of-13 shots habang humakot si 7-footer JaVale McGee ng 15 points, 4 rebounds at 2 blocked shots.

Pinangunahan ni Rudy Gay ang San Antonio mula sa kanyang 15 points at nalimitahan si leading scorer LaMarcus Aldridge sa 14 points buhat sa 5-for-12 shooting.

Nakatakda ang Game Two ng best-of-seven series sa Martes (Manila time) sa Oracle Arena.

Sa Toronto, kumolekta si Serge Ibaka ng 23 points at 12 rebounds  habang humugot si Delon Wright ng 11 sa kanyang 18 points sa fourth quarter para tapusin ang 10-game losing skid ng Raptors sa playoff series openers sa pamamagitan ng 114-106 panalo laban sa Washington Wizards.

Nagdagdag si DeMar DeRozan ng 17 points kasunod ang tig-12 mar­kers nina C.J. Miles at OG A­nunoby at 11 points ni Kyle Lowry para sa Toronto.

Huling nagtala ng pa­nalo ang Raptors sa ope­ning game ng isang playoff series sa second round laban sa Philadelphia 76ers noong 2001.

Kumamada naman si John Wall ng 23 points at 15 assists sa panig ng Wi­zards, nakahugot kay Markieff  Morris ng 22 points at 11 rebounds.
