Pagkatapos kay Matthysse, Pacquiao pwedeng subukan si Lomachenko
MANILA, Philippines – Iginiit ni Top Rank Inc. chief Bob Arum na walang gusot ang relasyon ng kaniyang kompanya kay eight division champion Manny Pacquiao.
Sinabi ni Arum na kung hindi sila maayos ni Pacquiao ay hindi magiging television distributor ang Top Rank ng laban ng Pinoy boxer kay Lucas Matthysse.
“Well we have a very, very good relationship with Manny. We can talk contracts from today till tomorrow but that seems like its controversial. There isn’t (controversy) for example in this fight. We’re not putting up the money, Manny got the money himself from Malaysia,” paliwanag ni Arum.
“Our role is to distribute the television, particularly in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and we’re happy with that,” dagdag niya.
Magtutuos sina Pacquiao at Matthysse sa Hulyo sa Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia kung saan naikasa ang bakbakan sa pagitan ng MP Promotions at Golden Boy Promotions ni Oscar dela Hoya.
Ang dating promoter ni Pacquiao na Top Rank ay naging distributor na lamang kasunod ng pagtatapos ng kanilang kontrata sa isa’t isa.
“If Manny was looking to break his contract with us, he would’ve broken it by not having us being involved I assume,” patuloy ni Arum.
Kapag nanaig si Pacquiao sa Hulyo ay posible niyang makaharap si Vasyl Lomachenko.
“And now he’s talking if he wins this fight, (about) fighting Lomachenko who is our fighter, and we will be happy to promote a Pacquiao/Lomachenko fight if that occurred because that would be huge,” sabi ni Arum.
“That’s up to Manny.”
