“We have a lot of local and international competitions this year and as early as now, we want to select swimmers for those competitions. We are opening the doors in different parts of the country to give them a chance to be part of the PSL team,” wika ni PSL President Susan Papa.

“Apart from our international competitions, the Philippine Swimming League is also preparing for the Summer World University Games to be held next year in Italy. It’s one of our focus this year - to name swimmers for Universiade,” dagdag ni Papa.

Kabilang sa mga international meets ng PSL ang Buccaneer Swimming Championship sa Tokyo, Japan; Indian Ocean All-Star Challenge sa Perth, Australia; Thanyapura Swimming Championship sa Phuket, Thailand at Hamilton Aquatics Swimming Championship sa Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Darayo rin ang PSL sa Amerika para sa 2018 Bolles Swimming Championship sa Pebrero sa Miami, Florida gayundin sa China, India, Canada, Greece, Turkey, Singapore, Hong Kong, Italy at Brazil.
