Makikipagtuos ang Caida Tiles sa Tanduay Light sa alas-2 na susundan ng duwelo ng UP-QRS-Jam Liner at BDO-National University sa alas-4.

Idaraos naman ang simpleng opening ceremonies sa ala-una.

“With a lot of new faces plus the expected rivalry among school-based teams, I can say that the sixth season of the D-League is already a success,” pahayag ni PBA deputy commissioner Rickie Santos.

Tiwala si Tanduay coach Lawrence Chongson sa kanilang magiging kampanya sa kumperen­syang ito dahil ilang matitikas na collegiate players ang nakuha nito.

“It took some time before I was able to form my team so were cramming right now. Hopefully we’ve got the right pieces to make this work,” ani Chongson.

Sasandalan ni Chongson sina Von Pessumal, Ryusei Koga, Jeffrey Javillonar at Alfonso Gotladera kasama ang beteranong sina Rudy Lingganay at Narciso Llagas.

Mapapasabak ang Rhum Masters sa Caida Tiles na binubuo ng nag­lalakihang manlalaro sa pangunguna ni top rookie pick Jason Perkins.

Pasok din sa Caida sina Jio Jalalon, Jackson Corpuz, Dexter Maiquez, Roider Cabrera, Janus Lozada at Joseph Terso.

Ang walong mangu­ngunang koponan matapos ang single round robin elimination ang siyang uusad sa quarterfinals kung saan ang No. 1 hanggang No. 4 ay bibigyan ng twice-to-beat advantage.

Ang semifinals ay best-of-three habang ang finals ay best-of-five.

Sunod maglalaro ang liga sa Ynares Sport Arena sa Pasig sa Lunes tampok ang engkuwentro ng reigning Foundation Cup champion Cafe France at Mindanao Aguilas sa alas-2 at Wang’s Basketball at Phoenix Petroleum-FEU sa alas-4.
