3 caught with P.3 million shabu in San Juan
MANILA, Philippines — Police confiscated over P300,000 worth of shabu from three suspected drug pushers in San Juan City despite quarantine restrictions on Saturday.
Carolina delos Santos, 47; Romulo Ignacio, 41, and Roehl Escarcha, 40, were nabbed during a sting along Aurora Boulevard in Barangay Salapan at around 2 p.m.
Anti-narcotics operatives of the San Juan police said they have been casing the suspects for weeks prior to their arrest.
Police said Delos Santos was on the drug watchlist.
The suspects allegedly yielded five plastic packs containing around 53 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P360,400.
The suspects are being held by police on charges of drug sale and possession.
Mayor Francis Zamora warned drug pushers that they have no place in San Juan.
