Australian man nabbed for marijuana

BUTUAN CITY, Philippines – An Australian citizen was arrested after a raid on his rented villa in Barangay Catangnan, General Luna on Siargao island on Wednesday yielded sachets of marijuana leaves valued at P30,000.

Dindo Abellanosa, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Caraga information officer, identified the suspect as Michal Audziejczyk, 41, a ”high-value” target operating in the country’s surfing capital. 

 Abellanosa said ammunition, two mobile phones and Audziejcyk’s passport were confiscated.

PDEA agents are investigating where the suspect gets his supply of illegal drugs.
