PhilHealth, HMOs, at private insurers nagsanib para sa YAKAP
MANILA, Philippines — Nagkaisa ang Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), mga pangunahing health maintenance organizations (HMOs) at private health insurers (PHIs) na gawing mas abot-kaya at accessible ang primary healthcare para sa maraming Pilipino.
Lumagda ang PhilHealth at 13 pribadong healthcare providers sa isang Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) para sa pagpapatupad ng PhilHealth Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP) HMO/PHI Benefit Complementation Initiative, bilang suporta sa Universal Health Care (UHC) Law.
Bilang secondary payers, sasagutin ng mga HMOs at PHIs ang mga gastusing lampas sa limitasyon ng PhilHealth benefits, kabilang ang specialized procedures, branded medicines, at hospital room upgrades. Saklaw ng YAKAP ang mga konsultasyon, 13 laboratory tests, piling outpatient medicines sa ilalim ng GAMOT package, at outpatient services para sa anim na cancer screening tests.
Hinikayat ng PhilHealth members at policy holders na magparehistro sa YAKAP sa eGovPH app, PhilHealth Member Portal o sa pinakamalapit na PhilHealth para lubos na mapakinabangan ang kanilang primary healthcare coverage.
