Trackers tugis na sina Roque, Ong - CIDG
MANILA, Philippines — Matapos na maglabas ng warrant of arrest ang Angeles Regional Trial Court, tinutunton na ng Philippine National Police - Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) sina dating presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, Cassandra Li Ong, at 48 iba pa kaugnay ng kasong qualified human trafficking.
Ayon kay CIDG chief PMGen. Nicolas Torre III, nag-deploy na sila ng mga tracker teams nationwide para malaman ang kinaroroonan nina Cassy at iba pa.
“The CIDG’s Tracker Teams are already in place and are deployed 24/7 because one of the main tasks of CIDG is manhunt and arrest of fugitives and wanted persons nationwide,” ani Torre III.
Nabatid na inutos umano ni PNP chief PGen Rommel Francisco Marbil na paigtingin ang ‘Oplan Pagtugis’ para sa paghahanap sa naturang mga indibidwal.
Si Roque ay kasalukuyang nasa The Netherlands at humihiling ng asylum.
Samantala, sinabi naman ng Department of Justice (DOJ) na maaaring humiling ang mga prosecutor sa kaso para isailalim si Ong sa hold departure order para hindi ito makalabas ng bansa.
