108 Pugante naaresto sa 3 araw na operasyon - NCRPO
MANILA, Philippines — Naaresto ang 108 na pugante sa loob ng tatlong araw bago ang Huwebes at Biyernes Santo, sa isinagawang serye ng operasyon ng mga tauhan ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) na layong maging ligtas ang mga lugar sa Metro Manila.
Sa loob ng Abril 14-16, kabilang sa mga naaresto ng limang police district sa 24/7 coverage ang kabuuang 10 “Top Ten Most Wanted Persons”, 33 “Most Wanted Persons, at 65 iba pa, ayon sa NCRPO.
Sinabi ni NCRPO Chief, P/Major General Anthony Aberin, kabilang sa ipinatupad na security coverage para sa Semana Santa ang isang agresibo at procedure-based manhunt operation laban sa mga wanted sa batas.
“Our security coverage for the Holy Week includes aggressive and procedure-based manhunt operations against fugitives of law. NCRPO will remain steadfast in enforcing the law, removing threats to public safety and security during the Lenten Season,”ayon kay Aberin.
“Let this operation be a warning to all who continue to hide from the law: your time will come. Our pursuit will not stop, and the NCRPO will remain relentless in its mission to rid our streets of criminal elements. We owe this to our people, to ensure that every neighborhood in Metro Manila is a place where families can feel safe”, ang sabi pa ng opisyal.
