Publiko, pinag-iingat ng LTFRB sa modus na nagpapanggap na TNVS
MANILA, Philippines — Binalaan ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang publiko kaugnay ng umano’y panloloko ng ilang drayber ng pribadong sasakyan na nagpapanggap bilang Transportation Network Vehicle Service ( TNVS) providers.
Ang pahayag ng LTFRB ay reaksiyon sa naging viral sa social media na drayber ng isang SUV na puwersahang kumukuha ng pasahero at naniningil ng labis na pasahe.
“I was really disturbed by these ‘scams’ allegedly perpetrated by unscrupulous individuals against ride-hailing app customers. If indeed they are doing it, they should stop immediately. It affects the business of legitimate ride-hailing apps and more importantly the commuting public,” diin ni LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III.
Bagamat nauunawaan ni Chairman Guadiz ang pagnanais ng ilang may-ari ng sasakyan na magkaroon ng dagdag-kita sa pamamagitan ng TNVS service, ngunit ang pinakamabuting paraan anya kung gustong pumasada ay kumuha ng prangkisa sa LTFRB.
“There is always a right way in doing things, particularly when it comes to offering services to the public. For those who want to offer TNVS services and earn extra money, they should apply for a franchise,” dagdag pa ni Guadiz.
