250 traffic enforcers ng PNP-HPG balik sa deployment sa EDSA
MANILA, Philippines — Aabot sa 250 traffic enforcers ng Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) ang magbabalik upang tumulong sa pangangasiwa ng daloy ng trapiko sa kahabaan ng EDSA simula sa Nobyembre 8.
Ito ang inihayag kahapon ni PNP-HPG- National Capital Region (PNP-HPG-NCR) Chief P/Col. Oliver Sy Tanseco.
“The Highway Patrol Group is redeploying its 250 patrollers back to EDSA with the ‘Enhanced Campaign Plan EDSA’ (ECP EDSA) this coming November 8 “, pahayag ni Tanseco. Sinabi ni Tanseco na sa kasalukuyan ay may 100 HPG traffic personnels ang tumutulong sa Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) sa pangangasiwa sa trapiko kung saan karagdagan pang 150 traffic enforcers ang kanilang isasabak sa EDSA .
Ayon kay Tanseco ang “Hagad” ng HPG ay idedeploy sa EDSA upang tiyakin ang kaligtasan at seguridad ng mga nagdadagsaan ng motorista.
“The HPG Patrollers will also addres street crime committed by Motorcycle Riding Suspect (MRS) pursuant to PRRD’s ( President Rodrigo Duterte’s) directive to the PNP to stop crimes committed by criminals using motorcycles”, paliwanag ni Tanseco.
Gayundin, may sapat din ang mga itong kasanayan para magsagawa ng first aid at basic engine trouble shooting assistance sa mga motorista.
