Mas mahusay pang serbisyo dahilan ni Joy B. sa paglipat sa administration party
MANILA, Philippines — Nais ni Quezon City Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte na mapaglingkuran pa nang husto at patuloy na matulungang mapabuti ang kalagayan ng mga taga-lungsod.
Ito ay sinabi ni Belmonte nang ihayag ang dahilan ng kanyang pakikiisa sa ruling PDP-Laban party ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Sinabi ni Belmonte na ang pagiging miyembro ng partido ng Pangulong Duterte ang nagbigay sa kanya ng mas matinding oportunidad na higit na mapaglingkuran ang mamamayan ng QC.
“My decision is a result of my desire to help Quezon City better. It placed me in the best position to effect change. It has given me bigger opportunities to be of better service to my constituents,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
Mula Liberal Party (LP) lumipat si Belmonte sa bakuran ng PDP-Laban noong nagdaang taon kasama ang kanyang napisil na running mate sa 2019 elections na si 3rd District Councilor Gian Carlo Sotto.
Bukas si Belmonte sa kanyang intensiyon na tumakbo bilang Alkalde ng QC sa nalalapit na 2019 elections. Anya siya ay pinayagan ng LP na makiisa sa PDP-Laban.
“I want to continue the economic growth of Quezon City started by my father, and with PDP-Laban, it is not an impossible task”, dagdag ni Belmonte.
Kaugnay nito, pinapurihan din ni Vice Mayor Belmonte ang pahayag ni Pangulong Duterte na walang isyu laban sa mga politiko na lumilipat ng PDP-Laban party.
“I’m very happy with that gesture of reconciliation. I think that’s a sign of great maturity. And I think that should be the mindset of all politicians, since the day of reckoning is just one day, the people, when they choose, that winner must be magnanimous and must be willing to accept everybody because that’s the way to move forward, ”dagdag pa nito.
“If you make enemies, you will not move forward because you’ll always take vengeance with one another. That’s not the way towards progress,” sabi pa nito.
