“[H]e loved his fellow Filipinos. And he loved his country to which he devoted his life,” ani Marcos Jr. sa wreath-laying ceremony sa Ilocos Norte ngayong Biyernes, Sept. 11.
"Because what we do in service of our people is not for ourselves. It is for the country, it is for the people. And you must always remember that there is no sacrifice too great for your people and for your country," ani Marcos Jr.
"The nine-year military rule ordered by then President Ferdinand Marcos in 1972 unleashed a wave of crimes under international law and grave human rights violations, including tens of thousands of people arbitrarily arrested and detained, and thousands of others tortured, forcibly disappeared, and killed," sabi ng naturang human rights group.
