Kaso ng COVID-19 sa Pinas, bumaba ng 16%

MANILA, Philippines — Bumaba ang bilang ng  arawang kaso ng Covid-19 sa Pilipinas mula Mayo 5-11 ng 16% kumpara sa nagdaang linggo, batay sa ulat ng  OCTA Research Group.

Ayon sa grupo, ang bansa ay nakapag-ulat ng  7-day average na 6,522 kaso na may reproduction number  na 0.81.

Ang reproduction number na 1.00 o mas mataas dito ay nagpapakita ng patuloy na hawahan ng virus.

“The most current 7-day average of daily average of new COVID-19 cases in the Philippines is 6,522, which is 16% lower compared to the previous week,” ayon sa OCTA Research team.

Gayunman, nagkaroon ng pagtaas ng kaso ng virus sa  Zamboanga na may pinakamaraming kaso sa labas ng Metro Manila na nakapagtala ng 47%  taas ng kaso o average na 151 sa isang araw.

Ang Puerto Princesa naman ay nakapagtala ng 35% one-week growth rate o 60 kaso kada araw habang ang Batangas City at Cagayan de Oro City ay nakapagtala rin ng pagtaas ng kaso.

Ang Tuguegarao, Baguio at Puerto Princesa ay may average daily attack rate (ADAR) na mas mataas sa 20 per 100,000. Ang lugar na naiulat na ADAR na may mas mataas sa 10 kada 100,000 ay tinatawag na high risk ng Department of Health.
