Habang 'quarantine,' Mocha hugas-kamay sa anti-Vico Sotto post sa sariling blog
MANILA, Philippines — Itinanggi ni Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Deputy Administrator Mocha Uson na siya ang promotor ng mga post kontra kay Pasig City Mayor sa kalagitnaan ng coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic sa Pilipinas.
"FYI, Mocha Uson Blog FB page is now composed of different bloggers and admins. We practice free speech though we differ in opinions on different matters," paliwanag niya, Huwebes.
"So, saying that I am against VICO SOTTO is FAKE NEWS since it was posted by another admin. I hope this clears everything."

Kahapon kasi nang batikusin at tawaging "pabebe" ng MOCHA USON BLOG si Sotto dahil sa pagpayag sa tricycle operations kahit umiiral na ang "enhanced community quarantine" kontra COVID-19.
Martes nang sabihin ni Sotto na okey lang bumiyahe ang ilang tricycle para makapasok ng trabaho ang health workers, kahit sinuspinde ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang lahat ng pampublikong transportasyon.
"Health workers need to get to work. Some emergencies can only be reached by tryk," sabi niya sa kanyang Twitter account.

Bagama't nadedelikado mula sa mga kapwa government officials dahil sa hakbang ni Vico, marami ang hanga sa kanyang kakaibang estilo sa paglaban sa COVID-19.
Ilan sa mga ginawa ni Vico, na anak ng aktor na si Vic Sotto, ay ang pagtatalaga ng drones para makapag-disinfect, pagtatalaga ng sanitation tents, pagpapagamit ng bike units sa mga frontline personnel, pagpapatupad ng ordinansa kontra panic buying at paghahanda ng 400,000 food packs para sa kanyang mga nasasakupan.

Public transpo ban
Ipinagbabawal sa ngayon ang pagbiyahe ng mga tricycle, jeepney, bus, tren at iba pang modes of public transportation sa pagsisikap ng gobyerno na mapigilan ang pagkalat ng nakamamatay na sakit.
Nagbanta naman ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ng parusang "gross negligence" o "insubordination" ang mga local government officials na lalabag sa panuntunan ng quarantine.
"Nakikiusap kami sa mayors at barangay officials na huwag na sana tayo makarating sa punto na magsasampa pa ang DILG ng kaso," wika ni DILG spokesperson Jonathan Malaya.
Ayon naman kay Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, delikado ang ginagawang pagpayag sa tricycle operations lalo na't labag daw ito sa "social distancing" ngayong may COVID-19, na nagmimintini ng isang metro layo sa iba pang tao, lalo na sa mga umuubo o bumabahing.
Tiniyak naman ni Sotto na susundin na ng kanilang lungsod ang pansamantalang ban sa mga tricycles.
"We just wanted to give them our opinion based on our risk assessment and analysis on the situation here on the ground. But still whatever the national directives are rest assured we will comply and follow," sabi ng alkalde sa ulat ng ANC.
"What’s important now is that we have a unified policy throughout the NCR and even Luzon. With or without tricycles we’ll continue to do what we can to fix the transport situation especially for our essential workers."
Kasalukuyang gumagamit ng 50 bus at coaster ang Pasig upang maidala ang kanilang mga frontline personnel sa kani-kanilang paroroonan.
