6.1 magnitude na lindol naitala sa Zambales; Pagyanig dama sa NCR

MANILA, Philippines — Niyanig ng magnitude 6.1 na lindol ang Luzon, 5:11 p.m. ng hapon, Lunes.

Itinaas ito mula sa naunang ibinalitang 5.7 magnitude na lindol na nagmula sa Castillejos, Zambales.

Nasa tatlo na ang napabalitang patay matapos maipit ng pader sa San Fernando, Pampanga sabi ni Gov. Lilia Pineda, ayon sa ulat ng The STAR.

Sa inisyal na ulat, kinukumpirma pa ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council ang ulat tungkol sa diumano'y limang casualty.

Wala munang LRT, MRT

Pansamantala munang itinigil operasyon ng LRT-1, LRT-2 at MRT-3 matapos ang lindol.

Kinumpirma 'yan ni Department of Transportation Assistant Secretary for Communications Goddes Libiran sa isang pahayag kanina.

"Upon NDRRMC’s advice at around 5:42 PM to NOT resume operations, instructions were relayed to LRT-1, LRT-2, and MRT-3 NOT to resume operations until further notice," sabi ni Libiran.

Ganyan din ang sinabi ng pamunuan ng Light Rail Transit Authority.

"LRT2 will no longer resume operations tonight," sabi ni LRTA Spokesperson Hernando Cabrera.

LRT2 will no longer resume operations tonight. For the safety of everyone, a more thorough inspection shall be conducted to ensure the integrity of  LRT2 structures and systems. LRT2 will resume operations tomorrow at 4:30 in the morning.

Aniya, magsasagawa ng mga inspeksyon para siguruhin ang integridad ng struktura ng LRT-2 systems.

Magpapatuloy naman ang operasyon ng LRT-2 bukas, alas-kwatro y media ng umaga.

Pinayuhan naman ng pamunuan ng LRT-1 ang lahat na manatiling kalmado habang bumababa mula sa mga istasyon.
