Never pa raw kasing nangyari iyon on Broadway.

“We did not know at the time but perhaps I was already manifesting. I wanted to be a part of the first all-Filipino cast on Broadway. An all-Filipino is a major step and we do have a lot of the creative team as well as assistants, associates who are of Filipino descent,” sey ni Lea na ang co-stars ay Fil-American Broadway veterans na sina Arielle Jacobs, Jose Llana, and Conrad Ricamora.

Bumiyahe pa raw sila to Manila, Leyte and llocos para makilala ang mga character nila Ferdinand Marcos and Imelda Marcos.

“Yes, our creator is white but my God, the extent of the research that this man did in order to make this story and create it and now we as the company get to grab it and it becomes ours,” diin pa ni Lea.

Sey ni Lea: “There are going to be criticisms obviously. Yes there’s pain, yes there’s so much heartbreak, yes there are people who have not had closure with regards to this particular part of history. But at the very end of the show, everybody knows the EDSA revolution, that’s how the show ends. It’s at the moment where people feel hope.”

Sey ni EA: “Very excited, especially first time kong makatrabaho si Jo Berry and looking forward na makaeksena siya. Kilig, comedy, and drama kumbaga para sakin natsa-challenge din ako kasi first time naming magkatrabaho.”

In fairness kay Jo, puro guwapo at matitipuno na Kapuso actors ang nakatambal niya tulad nila Wendell Ramos, Rodjun Cruz, at Juancho Trivino.

Taylor, tuloy ang laban para sa LGBTQ!

Kabilang si Taylor Swift sa nakaramdam ng galit at lungkot dahil sa pagpasa ng anti-trans bill sa State of Tennessee.

Kilala si Taylor sa pakikipaglaban sa karapatan ng LGBTQ+ community at naging anthem pa nila ang single niyang “You Need To Calm Down.”

Kaya sa naging sold-out Eras tour show niya ni Chicago kamakailan, nangako ang singer na isang “safe, celebratory place” ang kinalalagyan nila.

“I wish that every place was safe and beautiful for people in the LGBTQ community. We can’t talk about pride without talking about pain... Right now and in recent years, there have been so many harmful pieces of legislation that have put people in the LGBTQ and queer community at risk. It’s painful for everyone. Every ally, every loved one, every person in these communities,” sey n Taylor.

Kaya come election day, ini-encourage ni Taylor ang marami na iboto ang mga taong nararapat at may respeto for human life mapa-straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual or trans pa ang mga ito.
