“CANCEL CULTURE can be toxic and downright abused or dangerous especially when rendered based on hasty generalizations, unverified accounts and prejudicial assumptions. Or when used just to destroy for personal, self-serving reasons.

“CANCEL CULTURE (with its mob mentality) can be unjust, unwarranted and inhuman. There is another side to every narrative that must be heard before you CANCEL,” direk Joey wrote.

Sumagot naman si Lea sa comment section. Aniya, “I have no idea what’s going on... would someone kindly share the story behind this?”

Sagot naman ni direk Joey, “In the process KSH lost movie deals, was pulled out of projects and endorsements. But who should further expose the accuser? Her friends saying she wanted to create a scandal to completely ruin and bankrupt him so that he would crawl back to her. HER friends defended HIM which goes to show his ex has more than just a personality disorder. Worse, it reveals the danger of cancel culture in feigning rabid conservatism based on news blasts, overblown reactions and baseless accusations.”

Sumagot ulit si Lea. “In short, she was the devil incarnate. In which case she deserves to be hung out to dry.”

Tugon naman ulit ni direk Joey, “Definitely! How can ANYONE in her right mind do that to anybody?!”

“That is how drastic cancel culture works for Korean mainstream media. Eh dito nga, the more vulgar and scandalous, the more awesome and popular! Some even get elected into public office,” saad ng direktor.

Sagot naman ni Lea, “oh, you’d be surprised the lengths certain people will go to, in order to get what they want.”

Dagdag pa niya, “this incident helps me understand why many actors and idols avoid scandal like the plague. Talk about a swift cancellation, it really affects everything.”
