Donita, mas masaya sa Amerika

Noong magkaroon ng pandemya last year, nagdesisyon si Donita Rose na bumalik sa Amerika at mag-goodbye na sa career niya dito sa Pilipinas.

Pagbalik ng Amerika ay mabilis naman nakakuha ng trabaho si Donita dahil isang certified chef siya. Kinuha siyang corporate chef ng isang supermarket chain na pag-aari ng isang Pinoy sa Amerika. Bukod sa trabaho niyang iyon ay nakapagtayo pa siya ng sariling business na Chirp & Oink.

Kahit na raw okey na ang takbo ng career niya sa ibang bansa, gusto pa rin daw bumalik ni Donita sa Pilipinas. “I’m not closing my doors to the Philippines. Ang problema lang talaga is that my entire family is here in the US. My whole life, I’ve been there in the Philippines without my family, so ‘pag bakasyon lang minsan, in the beginning it was twice a year and then it became once a year and then it became every other year. And when I came back during the pandemic, I just realized how much I missed my family. One of the reasons why I feel so much happier now is because I have a bigger support system in my family.”

Kung babalik daw sa Pilipinas si Donita, ito ay dahil sa mga kaibigan niya na naging malaking tulong sa kanya.

Bunsong anak nina Prince Harry at Meghan, kasama na sa mga magmamana ng trono

Sinama na ni Queen Elizabeth II sa royal line of succession ang anak na babae nina Meghan Markle at Prince Harry na si Lilibet Diana.

Ayon sa official Royal.UK website, pangwalo si Lilibet in line to the British throne. Pang-pito ang kanyang kuya na si Archie habang sa sixth line naman ang ama nilang si Prince Harry. “The legal basis for the line of succession dates back to the 17th century and the reign of William III (otherwise known as William of Orange). It was most recently amended in 2013 to end the system of male primogeniture, which automatically placed male heirs above their sisters in the line of succession. At the same time, the amendments also removed a historic rule that a royal could not keep their position on the list if they married a Roman Catholic. The changes came into force in March 2015 — but only apply to royal children born after October 28, 2011,” ayon pa sa sa website.

Ang mga pinsan naman nina Archie at Lilibet na sina Prince George, Princess Charlotte at Prince Louis (mga anak nina Prince William at Kate Middleton) ay nasa ikatlo, ikaapat at ikalimang line of succession to the British throne.

Ang susunod na magmamana sa trono ni Queen Elizabeth II ay ang ama nina William at Harry na si Prince Charles. Sa edad na 72, hawak niya ang record for being the longest-serving heir apparent in British history, having held the position since the then Princess Elizabeth acceded to the throne on February 6, 1952.
